Als er zich een probleem voordoet
Oververhitting
O v e r v e r h i t t i n g
Indien het waarschuwingslampje voor
hoge motorkoelvloeistoftemperatuur gaat
branden, de auto vermogen verliest of u
een luid tikkend of pingelend geluid hoort,
is de motor waarschijnlijk oververhit.
WAARSCHUWING
Stop op een veilige plaats, zet
vervolgens het contact uit en let er op
dat de ventilator niet draait alvorens te
proberen in de buurt van de
koelventilator te werken:
Werken in de buurt van de
koelventilator wanneer deze draait is
gevaarlijk. Als de motor is stopgezet
en de temperatuur in de motorruimte
hoog is, kan de ventilator gedurende
onbepaalde tijd blijven draaien.
U zou door de ventilator ernstige
verwondingen kunnen oplopen.

Geen van de
koelsysteemdoppen verwijderen
wanneer de motor en de radiateur heet
zijn:
Wanneer de motor en de radiateur heet
zijn, kan kokend hete koelvloeistof en
stoom onder druk naar buiten spuiten
en ernstig letsel veroorzaken.

De motorkap UITSLUITEND openen
nadat er geen stoom meer uit de
motorruimte komt:
Stoom van een oververhitte motor is
gevaarlijk. De ontsnappende stoom kan
ernstige brandwonden veroorzaken.
Als het waarschuwingslampje voor hoge
motorkoelvloeistoftemperatuur gaat
branden:


1. Rijd naar de kant van de weg en
breng de auto op een veilige plaats tot
stilstand.
2. Schakel bij een automatische
transmissie in stand P (parkeren)
of schakel bij een handgeschakelde
versnellingsbak in de neutraalstand.
3. Trek de handrem aan.
4. Schakel de airconditioning uit.
5. Controleer of er koelvloeistof of stoom
uit de motorruimte ontsnapt.

Als er stoom uit de motorruimte
komt:
Niet te dicht in de buurt van de
voorzijde van de auto komen. Zet de
motor stop.
Wacht totdat er geen stoom meer
naar buiten komt, open vervolgens de
motorkap en start de motor.

Indien er geen kokende koelvloeistof
of stoom naar buiten komt:
De motorkap openen en de motor
stationair laten draaien om deze
geleidelijk te laten afkoelen.
OPGELET
Als de koelventilator niet functioneert
terwijl de motor draait, zal de
motortemperatuur toenemen. Zet de
motor stop en neem contact op met een
deskundige reparateur, bij voorkeur een
of¿ ciële Mazda reparateur.


Selector
Maintenance Monitor
“Oil Change” with flexible setting*1 is available. Consult an Authorised Mazda
Repairer for details*2.
Maintenance Monitor (Type A/Type B audio)
Reset method
Press and hold the selector with the ignition switched off, then switch it on. Keep
pressing the selector for more than 5 seconds. The master warning light will flash
for a few seconds when the reset is completed.
Maintenance Monitor (Type C/Type D audio)
1. Select the icon on the home screen to display the “Applications” screen.
3. Select “Maintenance” to display the maintenance list screen.
4. Switch the tab and select the setting item you want to change.
You can customize settings in the setup display as follows:

(whichever comes first).

Once the system turns on, it needs to be reset whenever carrying out
maintenance.
2. Select “Vehicle Status Monitor” to display the current warnings.
1*1 The engine oil flexible maintenance setting is available (only some models).
Based on the engine operating conditions, the onboard computer in your vehicle
calculates the remaining oil life.
*2 When the engine oil flexible maintenance setting is selected, the system must be
reset whenever replacing the engine oil regardless of the wrench indicator light
display.
When the engine oil flexible maintenance setting is selected, the wrench indicator
light in the instrument cluster will be illuminated when remaining oil life becomes
less than 1,000 km (600 mile), or remaining days are less than 15 (Whichever
comes first).

the engine oil.
*1 The engine oil flexible maintenance setting is available (only some models).
Consult an Authorised Mazda Repairer for details.
*2 Whenever the engine oil is replaced, the vehicle engine control unit reset is
necessary for SKYACTIV-D 2.2. When the engine oil flexible maintenance setting is selected, you will see the
following items in the display. The vehicle calculates the remaining oil life based
on the engine operating conditions and lets you know when an oil change is due
by illuminating the wrench indicator light in the instrument cluster.
Your Authorised Mazda Repairer will be able to reset the engine control unit or
refer to the vehicle engine control unit reset procedure.
